What is Olaplex and why do I need it?
What is Olaplex?
Olaplex works internally to cross link single sulfur hydrogen bonds and includes a patented active ingredient that works on a molecular level to seek out broken bonds in the hair that are caused by chemical, thermal, and mechanical damage. When used as a stand alone treatment, Olaplex can breathe life back into your tired tress. It helps to restore compromised hair and will make your hair stronger, shiner and more manageable. When added to a chemical service, it can be used as the ultimate hair insurance by protecting the bonds that are broken during the chemical process.
Olaplex No.1:
No.1 Bond Multiplier is the first of two steps for the in salon treatment. This water solution of the bis-aminopropyl diglycol dimaleate active is used as part one of the in-salon stand alone treatment. No. 1 can also be added into your chemical mixture during your regular salon visit, maximizing your color potential as well.
Olaplex No.2:
No.2 is the second in salon step that is necessary for treatment efficiently. finds more single sulfur hydrogen bonds and will cross link them back together. Your hair will feel like like it's brand new.
Olaplex No.3:
No.3 is the retail at home bond maintainer. This is not a conditioner, so just because it seems to have the same consistency, it is a treatment and should be treated as such. It's recommended for normal hair once a week, and for more compromised hair, two to three times a week. It's best to work apply to dry hair, as the water molecule is strong and will prevent maximum efficiency for No.3 absorption. Leave on anywhere from 10 minutes to 45 minutes. Follow with shampoo and conditioner.
Olaplex No.4:
Olaplex No.4 is the perfect shampoo to pair with and to use after Olaplex No.3 The at home bond maintaining shampoo is highly concentrated and will repair and maintain bonds within the hair shaft, eliminate frizz and will help to keep breakage and flyaways, to a minimum.

Olaplex No.6:

Olaplex No.7 This highly-concentrated, weightless reparative styling oil will dramatically increase shine, softness, and color vibrancy, minimizes fly-aways and frizz. Provides heat protection of up to 450, UV protection, all while promoting a healthy scalp. This can be used on wet, damp, or dry hair.
